Is there something you really want to do, and even though you take steps to get it done, no progress ever really seems to be made?  Are you setting yourself up to fail, putting roadblocks in your own way?

Let me start with the example of losing weight and getting in shape, to really explain what I am talking about.  Recently, I was talking with a friend of mine who said she really wanted to get into shape, and that she was going to join a gym.  Now gyms are a great place, but not always for starting out.  My question to my friend was do you have the time commitment it is going to take to go to the gym? Because, belonging to a gym, and actually having the time to get in your car, drive to the gym, change your cloths, work out, shower, dress, and drive home are two different things.  Was she setting herself up to fail?

When you are starting out, and looking to set goals for yourself, you have to make sure that you are not putting up your own roadblocks along the way.  My suggestion, instead of joining a gym, isn’t there something much easier for you to do, right around your house?  For me, I live at the bottom of a great hiking area, for others, it could be a nice walking district, a running track close by, something that doesn’t take any effort to get to.  Once you get started, if you think you need the gym, then by all means join, but remember, the easier it is to do, the more likely you are going to stick with it!

When having a similar conversation with another friend of mine I heard, “I’m going to start working out an hour a day, every morning.”  This is just another way to set your self up to fail.  An hour is a long time, start slowly.  I suggest never plan to do anything that takes more than 30 minutes; after all, we can do anything, if it’s only half an hour!!  If you are worried about not getting enough exercise, then do another 30 minutes at another time of the day.  And as an added bonus, they say your body responds better by breaking up a work out this way.

Society as a whole is not very supportive of any one individual.  Don’t we owe it to ourselves to support ourselves?  Why not try and set up achievable goals.  You will be amazed at how much better you feel about yourself when you say, “I said I was going to do it, and I did.”  And suddenly things you never thought were possible are not only a reality but better!  How do I know? You may be asking yourself, well I have been applying everything in this post for the past year and a half  in many aspects of my life, including getting into shape, and here are my before and after pictures, see for yourself.  And so until next time, remember, NEVER BLAST ALONE!!

This was me in June 2008, 1 month before I gave birth to my twin girls

This is me now!!

The Yoli Blast Off Convention officially kicked off, with Founder and Executive VP, Darren Falter playing the National Anthem, now that was a treat!  Then Yoli Founder and President Robby Fender came out, and introduced the Founders one by one as they came out on stage.  Following the Founders we were all introduced to our fabulous Corporate Team.  The speakers were all amazing; Carl Lewis, Bryan Clay and I especially loved hearing from David Matteson, VP of Business Development at pH Science, about Alka Plex, a product that is a main ingredient in Yoli Fun Active Blast, to read more about it click here  http://phsciences.com/

During the morning session, 3 awards were given out, The Rising Stars Award to Mike and Stacey Healy, The Star Maker Award to Janice Stieglitz and the Rock Star Award to J. Brad and Collette Britton.  Congratulations! Carlos Aponte also won 3rd place in the video contest.  Way to go Carlos!  At lunch, the Founders along with everyone else, made their way to the Yoli Store, we shopped and waited in line, while they met and signed posters for anyone who wished to meet them!  I don’t think they even went to lunch!  For every $100.00 spent in the store you were given 1 entry into the drawing for the free Yoli Cruise on the Oasis of the Seas, April 24th-May 1, 2010 to be given out on Sunday during the Distributors Training.  I got my tickets, put my name on it, as they told us to do, and put my tickets into the basket.

The afternoon session was just as amazing, starting off with the presentation of all of the Diamonds, it was really wonderful to see all of the leaders up there, it was inspirational!  Throughout the day, the Founders each took multiple turns up on stage, opening up to the group of over 1200, as if we were all their close friends.  Robert Meyer won 2nd place in the video contest and Sheldon Collins won 1st place.  You guys rock!!  The 1st Yoli Cruise was also given away, for every paid person you brought to convention you received an entry into the drawing, the winner was Joseph Rosquites, congrats and Bon Voyage to him.

Saturday night was a blast.  The room was decked out, Corey Citron was spinning, and it was time to have some fun!!  Everyone was dancing and having an amazing time.  Because as the Founders say, at Yoli, we like to work hard, and play harder!  Saturday night was time to have fun with fellow distributors from near and far.  I even had a very interesting conversation with Ty Rice that night about the Yoli Cruise, Ty asked if I was going, and even though I knew I had no way to go, I said “where there is a will there is a way”, but more about that later.!  I also want to give a shout out to Paul Sperrazza and his live looping, I have never heard anything like it!!

Sunday was a day of training by our fellow distributors.  Now, in some companies this may be something people would skip, but not so in Yoli.  Not only, was everyone there taking notes, the Founders were sitting in the first row!!  Each speaker spoke from the heart, passing on valuable trainings and tips.  I can honestly say, that I learned something new from every person up there on stage.

Of course, there were so many memorable parts to the convention, but for me, the most memorable part of the Yoli Blast Off Convention was on Sunday a little bit before lunch.  The time had come to pick the other cruise winner.  So they brought out the bin with all of the tickets, and Corey picked one.  His eyes scanned the ticket as he began to read the numbers, and I knew I had not won, because clearly there was no name written on the ticket.  Corey read the numbers, and we all waited, and waited…the person whose ticket it was, was not there, Corey would pick again.  This time when he pulled out the ticket, he read it to himself as if there was a name on it, so this time there was hope!!  He began reading the numbers, and people around me started to sit down, he continued to read the numbers and more people sat.  Suddenly I realized that there were only 3 other people standing, and I was shaking like a leaf, and as I stood there, Corey Citron, Yoli Founder and CMO called off the last 2 numbers, I HAD WON THE CRUISE!! I was so excited, it was a dream come true.

Now I think the real moral to my convention story is that had I given up on getting to the convention, had I said I wasn’t going to go by myself, had I let the obstacles presented before me block my path, I would not have won that cruise!!  But not only that, I would not have had the chance to spend, an incredible 2 ½ days, with all of the amazing people learning, working and playing Yoli.  And this was just the beginning, this was our Official Yoli Launch!! Here see for yourself:

Convention…Is it worth going?  Did you ask yourself that question? Did you do what you needed to, to be where you needed to be?  Today’s post is my story of getting to the Yoli Blast Off Convention.  I hope you enjoy it.

The Yoli Blast Off Convention happened Jan. 22-24th 2010, at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.  It was non-stop action, from registering, going to the Yoli store, and the late evening reception on Friday night to hanging out with other distributors after a day of incredible training from some of Network Marketing and Yoli’s top leaders on Sunday.  But a more about that in my next post.

My story begins several months back when I found out the dates of the Yoli Convention.  Michael and I knew that of course we were going to go, after all, we all know the saying “Leaders are born at Events.”  So we booked our room, and made sure that we had tickets, and started getting ready for a once in a lifetime experience.  Then sometime in December, Michael changed jobs, and circumstances being what they may, Michael was not going to be able to join me for the Yoli Blast Off Convention after all!  So, I changed my plans, and asked my dear friend, and fellow Yoli distributor to go with me.  After all, we could make it a girl’s weekend away!  The plans were made, and both of us were getting very excited!

The anticipation was building, this was going to be a very special event.  Keynote speakers like Yoli’s very own Bryan Clay, World’s Greatest Athlete, and one of the greatest athletes of all time, Carl Lewis, a big launch party with Yoli Founder and CMO, Corey Citron spinning, and a Sunday training with some of Yoli’s top leaders.  This was going to be FUN.  I was a little worried about the weather. We live in Los Angeles, and had always planned on driving, we figured what was the worst that could happen? Who knew LA would be hit by 4 huge storms in a row!

Finally the day had come, we were both all packed, I woke up early, and checked my phone.  PROBLEM, there is a text message from my friends daughter, telling me my friend is deathly ill, and there is no way she is coming with me.  Now as bad as I felt for my friend, I was heartbroken, and to be honest a bit scared to go by myself.  I paced around my house for hours, I was upset!  The rain was pouring outside, my parents had called suggesting I not go because of the weather, and I needed to get on the road because I WAS GOING TO CONVENTION!!  To not go was never an option!

I got on the road and began the 271 mile drive, it was raining, and I don’t mean a little drizzle, I mean a steady downpour!! I pushed on.  It rained, at time torrential for the first couple of hours.  As I continued the drive, the rain did start to come down less hard, but as I looked down at the thermometer in my car I realized that was because it was no longer rain, but snow that was falling, but I pushed on, laughing, as I have only seen snow falling a handful of times in my life, I thought it was neat at first.  Then it started coming down faster, harder and bigger, and I just kept hoping I was going to get through before chains were needed.  I just kept on driving, and as soon as I was through the blizzard, the rest of the drive was one of the most beautiful and scenic drives I have ever made, snow covered mountains, 3 different rainbows along the way, and then finally I was in Vegas!  Maybe things were going to be alright…

I checked into my room at Bally’s, had my luggage brought up and started to get settled, only to find used soap, toothpaste, and other miscellaneous used toiletries in the drawer by the bed, AND the safe didn’t work, time to change rooms!  So they got me a new room, a few floors away, and then with no bellhop or any help, I lugged all my stuff to the new room.  I was really starting to think that it was not my day!  I went to go find Julie Booz, my friend and Sponsor but somehow could not find her, connect with her, or anyone else I knew for that matter.  I was on the verge of tears, I was there, but ready to give up.

But then, something happened, the magic of Yoli you could say.  As I was walking though the walkway, looking at all of the YOLI banners hanging.  I ran into Robert Meyers and his wife Lyn.   I had met them several times at events in Los Angeles, but it was like seeing old friends, Lyn seeing how upset I was, made sure I had their number, and that if I wasn’t able to find the people I was looking for to make sure to call them, I knew I was not going to be alone!  So I walked over to registration, and bumped into Corey Citron, who was surprised to hear that I was alone, and about how my day had been going (how nice, that he took the time to see how I was, even as the launch of both his Company and Event were about to occur!) I assured him I would be fine, and we went on our way.  I then registered and checked out the amazing Yoli Store, and started talking to people, my day was changing before my eyes, and I realized I was exactly where I needed to be!!

By the way, in case you don’t know the kind of person Corey Citron is (we all know what an amazing marketer, leader and mentor he is but I mean what kind of person,) he texted me about an hour later to make sure that I was okay,  As I said the magic of Yoli was happening around me.

And then the events began, there was a late night reception put on by my upline where I was fortunate enough to be hanging out with our team along with some of the top leaders in the company, Eugene Hong, Janice Stiglietz, Julie Booz and of course the Founders made an appearance as well.  What a way to start things off!  And this is only the beginning!!  Check back here in the next few days to read the rest of my Convention story, I promise you, it only gets better in every way!! And remember until next time NEVER BLAST ALONE!!

The Countdown to the Yoli Blast Off Convention has begun. If you are already a part of Yoli, you know that 2010 got off to an amazing start. (If you are not already a part of Yoli, we would love to have you join our team, to learn more visit our Corportate Website at http://NeverBlastAlone.net, and remember to sign in, that is only a landing page!) January 2, all of the Yoli Founders got on a training call, and each gave some words of wisdom, and some advice for us to start our year and our “Yoli” decade right.(**See hightlights below.**) Then the following Saturday, Darren Falter gave a great webinar laying out a specific 90 day action plan for us all to follow. (To hear Darren’s training in its entirety, click here.) All over the country leaders are having meetings, blasting in front of people, and sharing our great product and opportunity. Robby Fender and Corey Citron have been doing the East Coast Blast Tour, and of course we are all counting the days till the 1st Annual Blastoff Yoli Convention.

Las Vegas, Jan 22 – 24th is coming up fast. The 1st Annual Yoli Convention is not to be missed. As we pointed out in our convention post, “Leaders are born at events.” This is a 1st, and you want to be there. The Founders have a fantastic schedule put together. We have our Keynote speakers, Olympic Decathlon winner, Bryan Clay and one of the greatest athletes of all time, Carl Lewis. They have also scheduled a Launch Party on Saturday night, and training from some of the best in Network Marketing on Sunday. There are still some rooms available at discounted rates make sure you don’t miss it!! (See other post.)

With all of this excitement, fabulous training being offered by the leaders and Founders several times a week, a new formulation being introduced, and it’s only the begining of January, how could you not want to be a part of Yoli? This amazing company is just getting started. We here at Never Blast Alone, can’t wait for what’s being planned next. We hope to meet each and everyone of you at Convention, make sure to find us and say “hello”  and until then remember NEVER BLAST ALONE!!

*** In case you missed the special New Years call here are some hightlights. Yoli, CMO and Founder Corey Citron spoke of Yoli in 2009 and of Yoli’s Mission. Robby Fender, Yoli Founder and President, focused on 2 things, Commitment, and Taking Action. Darren Falter, Yoli Executive VP, and Founder told us to make sure we are exposing, and as leaders to make sure that our team members are “breaking even.” Founder and CFO/COO, Rick Eisele spoke of consistency in what we do. Michael Pritchard was traveling, but managed to get on the call long enough to tell us all, he will see us in Las Vegas. And Bobby Jones, Yoli Founder and CLO told us of the quote hanging by his desk from ‘THE SLIGHT EDGE” by Jeff Olson saying “SUCCESS is SIMPLE Disciplines repeated daily And FAILURE is small errors in judgment (seemingly insignificant at the time) repeated over time,” and how this is relevant to everything in life. Happy New Year!  As we close out 2009, we here at Never Blast Alone would like to thank everyone, for helping us make this year count.  You have all helped us to grow in ways we couldn’t have seen or imagined.  Here’s to 2010, and all that it has to bring!!

So to start 2010 off with a bang or maybe we should say “blast”, all 6 Founders, have decided this Saturday January 2nd, 2010 to participate in the training webinar. (To register for the webinar click here.)  That’s right, Robby Fender, Corey Citron, Rick Eisele, Darren Falter, Bobby Jones, and Michael Pritchard will all be joining in on the call.  You see, 2010 is not just going to be Yoli’s year, but this is going to be the “Yoli Decade.”  And there is plenty that will be discussed, including the newest Yoli Blast Formulation FUN.

Convention’s coming up Jan 22-24th, to read more about it check out our previous Convention Post here.  But, before Convention even gets here, Yoli Founder, and President Robby Fender, and Yoli Founder and CMO Corey Citron are going to be doing an East Coast Blast Off Tour: Cherry Hill, NJ – Friday January 8, Raleigh, Durham, NC- Saturday January 9, Atlanta, GA – Sunday January 10, Jacksonville, FL – Monday January 11, Miami, FL – Tuesday January 12, Ft. Lauderdale, FL – Wednesday January 13.  That’s right, if you have prospects or team members that are anywhere near these six locations, make sure to get them and yourselves to these power packed events. Let Corey and Robby do the closing for you.   Lead by example, if you show up, your team will follow! Bring your prospects with you, doesn’t everyone have an hour of time to give for an event that may change their lives?  Live events help you develop both your leadership and networking skills, use them!

And we hear another one of the great announcements to come on Saturday is the new shipping rates that have already been put into effect, and these are ones that benefit THE DISTRIBUTORS!  There is no longer going to be a $4.99 handling charge, and they are lowering the shipping to 10% flat fee.  The company opened up a second warehouse in Tennessee and is passing the saving along to us!  There will be a water surcharge as follows: TRUTH Bottles and Caps (6 Pack) – $2.50, TRUTH Bottles and Caps (12 Pack) – $5.00 and TRUTH Bottles and Caps (24 Pack) – $10.00.  But, you don’t need to be getting bottles with water all the time, remember to be Earth friendly, only order bottles when you need them, and get yourself a KOR Yoli bottle for your personal use, you will be doing something good for everyone, and every little bit counts!

See you on the call on Saturday, if you miss it, stay tuned we will recap here. Have a safe and Happy New Year.  And remember, NEVER BLAST ALONE!

Yoli Convention Las Vegas January 22-24th 2010. Make sure to get your tickets now (click here), and book your rooms while there are still some available at the special Yoli discounted rate (For Bally’s $89.00 rate click here)(For the Paris Hotel $125.00 rate click here). You don’t want to miss this once in a lifetime event!! Just think about it, with the type of prelaunch we have already been having can you imagine what our official launch is going to be like? That’s right, not only is January 22nd – 24th 2010 Yoli’s First Annual Convention, but it is also Yoli’s official Launch Date.

What a weekend! Launch and Convention. 2 very big events in the Network Marketing world, and we are going to be able to experience both in Las Vegas January 22-24th 2010. If you ever wanted to be first, there at the beginning this is your chance. There will never be another OFFICIAL YOLI LAUNCH!

I am sure you are thinking to yourself only the leaders go to big events like Convention or the big Launch Party, but that’s where your so wrong. It has been said by many in the Network Marketing Industry that “Leaders are Born at Events.” Does that mean if you show up you’re promised to become a leader? NO, but I bet you that all the future Yoli leaders will be there!! This will be the place where you can meet all 6 of the Yoli Founders, get some great training from industry and Yoli leaders, meet other distributors, hear keynote speaker like Yoli’s own Carl Lewis and Yoli Distributor Bryan Clay and try Yoli’s newest Sports Formulation FUN, the Yoli Sports Blast!!

So many things happen during these events! Who knows what it might be that you take away that will help you with your business. It might be something inspirational you hear from the stage, it might be the new friend you make while shopping in the store, it might be the training you get from other distributors. Who knows and the possibilities are endless. Get to convention, bring your team. Make sure to enjoy yourself, as the Founders keep reminding us, this is a company full of people who like to work hard, but they like to play hard too.

Of course we here at Never Blast Alone will be there in Las Vegas, and hope to meet many of you in person. If you see us, come up and introduce yourself. So, until next time, remember, NEVER BLAST ALONE!!

Susan and Michael Moss on December 20th, 2009

The Holidays are officially here.  Have you already slowed down in what you are doing to drive your business?  Have you been thinking to yourself, “it’s the end of the year”, “everyone slows down,”” what’s the big deal, I deserve a break too?”  This is Network Marketing, that means networking, and what better time to do that then during the holidays.  The holidays, a 3 week period of time when most people go out to more parties, visit and see more family, and generally socialize more than the whole rest of the year.  So instead of slowing down over the next few weeks, here are some pointers as to how to work your business while enjoying all of these various events.

First of all, remember everyone is there to have fun, whether a party, a family get together, or a group of friends celebrating.  If you are at a party, DON’T go up to someone, and start pitching your opportunity.  Instead, ask them what their New Year’s Resolution is going to be, it is a great ice breaker, and will present you with some wonderful information about the person right away.  Listen carefully to their responses.  Peoples resolutions are usually problems they are trying to fix, listen to what they say carefully (if you can make notes after the conversation), you just may have the solution, once again, DON’T pitch the opportunity, share contact information, and follow up after the party.

Are you giving gifts this holiday season? Seeing the whole family?  Why not give your product as gifts?  Or perhaps your company’s branded merchandise? (Just make sure that your companies merchandise is quality, I can only speak for my own company’s lines which are top notch. Below is an example of our New Branded Sustainable Kor Bottles.)  Not only are you introducing  your product to someone new to try, but your gift is tax deductible too!

If you are working an internet business also, don’t forget to keep putting stuff out there on the net as well.  The web doesn’t know that it’s the holiday’s, and with a lot of people slowing down, now is a great time to get your content out there and seen.  Keep up the Blogging, the Social Networking, make sure your Tweets have value, interact, participate in groups, make sure to be more social online as well as off for the holidays.

Remember all of the work that you do now, while others are “slowing down” will be what pays off for you during the first few months of the New Year.  We are the lucky ones, this time of the year is our time of the year.  Have fun, Happy Holidays, Good Health, and a very Happy New Year!!  And of course, remember NEVER BLAST ALONE!!

Thanksgiving is a time for all of us to give thanks. Thanks for what we have, thanks for what the year has brought, thanks for our families, our friends, and our health. We here at Never Blast Alone wanted to show how thankful we are to all those we interact with on a daily basis, here in the cyber world and those in our daily lives as well. As our way of thanking you, we wanted to pass along a video, “Get Back Up”,  we received this morning from Tony Robbins.  We found this video to be so inspirational that we immediately wanted everyone we know to see it. Nick Vujicic, this amazing man brought us to tears.  It makes you realize that we all can do ANYTHING we set our minds to do.

Happy Thanksgiving, remember that all the thanks you are giving on this special day, should be carried with you everyday. Give thanks for life’s blessings and you will continue to be blessed!

Until next time remember, NEVER BLAST ALONE!

Copy of Box_w_Caps1We here at Never Blast Alone love to hear from you, so starting this week we are going to post a question of the week and hopefully hear from all of you.  This week’s question: What do you think is the best way you expose your opportunity?

In the meantime, we would like you to think about the following things as you work on growing your business this week.  One, are you consistently presenting people with your product or opportunity?  You are not furthering your business if you are not connecting with people.  This is true whether you are building your business online, or offline.  This is network marketing; you must go out and NETWORK!  Every day, presents you with opportunities are you grabbing them, or are you running the other way?  Keeping this in mind, we want to share a great tip we heard from Tom “BiG Al” Schrieter during a training call this week.  He said people simply react to what we say and do, so what we must learn to do is change someone’s mindset, to open up their minds to listen to our opportunity.  “Big Al” then gave us 4 simple words to use if you want to get someone’s attention, words that actually make someone stop and listen to what you are about to say, and those words are “I just found out.”  Examples of this would be “I just found out how we can earn an extra paycheck each week” or “I just found out how we can fire our boss”.  What these statements do is make a person want to hear more, and they thus have their defenses down, and you will be faced with far less rejection.  To hear more of “Big Al’s” training, and words from 5 of our Yoli Founders listen to the whole Dream Team webinar here.

Have a great week, keep Yoli’ing, and remember NEVER BLAST ALONE!!
